At Licketyspit we’ve been very busy over the last few weeks providing a whole host of creative activities for families to get involved with.

So far we have created:

We’ve also been trialling Online Lickety Play Sessions using Zoom. We’ll be starting weekly open sessions on Saturday mornings next month!

We’re also acutely aware of digital inequality issues and are campaigning and working with other organisations to address this. We’ve created this survey to find out more about families digital needs and what they would like in terms of online content to support them to keep playing through lockdown: https://forms.gle/DsywPh4giXgaxL129

Families can also join our new private CFN Facebook Group to share play ideas, stories, pictures and videos and stay connected during lockdown!

You can find all of Licketyspit’s Lockdown Family Resources here. We know that the Coronavirus Lockdown is a difficult and stressful time for everyone. Licketyspit are doing everything we can to support families in our Children & Families Network and beyond to use our rich imaginations, creativity and empathy to stay happy, learning and connected. Playing is a brilliant way to relax and feel like ourselves again.

And remember, in our imaginations we can be anyone, do anything, go anywhere!
