Historic Environment Scotland (HES) are launching their event programme for 2022 and would love you to join them.

Following the successful series of events held through 2021-22, HES sought your views on the SCHC series and beyond via an online survey.

The message from this was a resounding Yes! to continuing.  You did ask that HES consider some minor tweaks around scheduling and offered your thoughts on future content, so with this in mind they have scheduled an initial series of midweek events throughout 2022. These will be delivered roughly every 8 weeks, with a big focus on Scotland’s Year of Stories 2022 throughout.

The first of these events will be on 6th April 2022, with a specific Year of Stories themed event, between 10am and 12:30pm

Our 2022 SCHC event schedule is as follows:

  • Wed 6th April: Scotland’s Year of Stories (10.00-12.30)
  • Wed 8th June: Your Voice and Place Making (10.00-12.30)
  • Wed 24th August: Youth Takeover
  • Wed 5th October: COP26: One Year On
  • Wed 12th Nov: Celebrating Community Heritage (Hybrid Event)
  • Wed 14th December: Cool Yule Jamboree

Registration for the first event is now open on Eventbrite and we will share the programme and speakers with you soon: CLICK HERE to book
