As Senior Officer, Regeneration you will develop and manage regeneration and investment projects, identify and secure external funding, and work with communities to ensure sustainable outcomes. We are looking for an individual with the skills and enthusiasm to develop and maintain supportive relationships with local communities, supporting their regeneration aspirations, and develop these into deliverable and funded projects. You will play a key role within the Economic Development Service and lead the Regeneration Team.

Home Working Consideration

Although usually office based, this post may be considered for a homeworking contract (either fully or on an ad hoc basis) in accordance with East Lothian Council’s Home Working and Worksmart Policies, and the requirements of the service.

Relevant Qualifications

Degree Level Qualification or equivalent in an appropriate discipline e.g. regeneration, architecture, building surveying, housing, town planning, economic development, built heritage management or related subjects and/or be able to demonstrate equivalent knowledge, skills and competencies gained through relevant experience.
